BiTE Attractor was a motion sculpture commissioned for presentation at the American Society for Hematology’s annual exposition in Florida. The brief called for a centrepiece inspired by the human body, our regulatory systems, and specifically the latest innovations in cancer fighting technology developed by biotechnology pioneer Amgen.

BiTE Attractor stands 4 metres high and consists of a series stacked, petal-like structures on a vertical axis, activated by individual motors with staggered programming to create a hypnotic effect. A.R.T created the electronic and control systems driving the robotic components of the installation.
